Political Thoughts While Cruisin’ for Furniture Stores in NJ
My girlfriend was driving her new car past all the many furniture stores in NJ this past Sunday when I suddenly thought to myself, hey, why are we out here again for a simple credenza?? But before I went on to actually ask her the same question I remembered that we were out here for the low sales taxes! Yeah, they’re so low that we still save a lot of money even when factoring in the gas! A shame, really, as consumption taxes do nothing but make things more expensive for those who aren’t rich, but oh well, there you have it….
